me and myah have planned to make the video on the weekend at her nans farm and i videoed myah singing for some behind the scenes for the credits.

Today I was working with Myah and Charlotte. we finished the planning of the music video and are going to film it at her nans farm in the weekend. I also watched and gave adrian constructive critisisim on his performance.

Today I got more information on Myah's song so I could get a better perspective on what to make the music video about. Today I worked with Asher, Ben, Isla and Myah. I feel like i worked very well today and i got a lot done, for example I now have a story line for what the music video could be! ( / videos )

Today I changed my plan a bit. I am also going to do a movie with Charli, Jessy, Scarlett, Charlotte and Isla. all their passion projects link up with mine as well because Charli is doing acting so she will be an actress, Jessy's is makeup so she'll do our stage makeup, Scarlett and Charlottes  is art so they will do the backdrops and props and lastly Isla's was photography so she can learn different styles (she will also act) I wrote down a plan for the movie as well.

Today is a Tuesday which means tech for the years sevens and passion projects for the year eights! Today I planned out what i'm going to do for the next couple weeks. I put it on postit notes and stuck it to the wall. I also planned out what is going into my video, a story board!

making rockets!

Today we made rockets, we had to make the rockets go as high as we could with the resources we had which were:

•  rocket powder (baking soda)
• rocket fuel (2 T of citric acid and water)
• tin foil
• canister

First of all you cut a square out of tin foil and wrap it around your finger to make a small cup, then fill it up half way up with the "rocket powder", secondly you get your canister and fill that up a quarter full of "rocket powder" and finally add the "rocket powder (in the tin foil) to the liquid and watch it explode!

Q: what worked well?
A: less "rocket powder" and "rocket fuel" worked better probably because there was more air to build up pressure to make it pop faster and fly higher.

Q: what didn't work well?
A: more "rocket powder" and "rocket fuel" didn't work as well most likely because there wasn't enough air to build up pressure to make it pop as fast or as high.

so all in all less powder and fuel works better and too much powder and fuel doesn't work as well.

Story Starter!

On Christmas Eve they came…

She had first seen them through the sitting room window, as she peeked out cautiously through a gap in the curtains.

Opening the front door, the little girl took a sharp intake of breath as thousands upon thousands of snowmen stared at her. Many of the small, white figures carried signs, written in different languages.

They must have travelled from all over the world to be here, on this special night of the year. But…Why had they come? What did they want? Why had they chosen her?

Wait were snowmen santas helpers? did they need her? That was a cool thought, but the real reason was much weirder. One snowman (I’m guessing was the leader)

Slithered forwards and bellowed “are you Aria?”

“Ummm yes?” I replied wearily “he hem, well miss Aria, you are needed we have a problem”

“What kind of problem?” I replied to a snowman? “There is a deadly disease going around, only snowmen can get it, it’s called deconstucteosis, if you haven’t already guessed it deconstructs us. The reason why we need you is because the  mother of all snowmen has the disease and is slowly deconstructing! we need you to help put her back together. Please you are our only hope!”

I glanced back at my warm house then back at the weird little snowmen creatures, then finally I agreed “ okay only if I’m back by christmas!”and with that I was zapped of to help build the mother of all snowmen?!?

It was a long and painful journey… wait what am I talking about I was there in 2, no 3 seconds! And this, this place! It was beyond gorgeous, indescribable in fact! Then suddenly the mysterious creatures made their way up to greet me, pulling me towards the grand building, topped with a delicate layer of snow all chanting “your majesty your saved, your majesty your saved, your majesty your saved” The noise drifted away as we neared the entrance of the majestic castle. I was rushed upstairs, down hallways, around corners until I stumbled into the sick queens room. The door slammed hard behind me as I edged closer to the queen “ ah aria! I’m so glad to see you! well I would come to greet you but you know, I have deconstucteosis *sniffs*” then all of a sudden the queen broke into a full out cry, I tried to comfort her by patting her shoulder but she was so cold, oh yeah that’s right she is made out of snow, I staggered back as I came back to reality I WAS COMFORTING A SNOWMAN!!! Oh well she needed my help and I was going to give it to her!

“There is no need to cry, I am here now it’s going to be alright”

“You’re right I might melt my snow anyway. I just want to say thank you so much for sparing your christmas for me I am so...¨

¨wait, what they said I would be back for christmas!¨

¨oh darling, curing half the town won´t take one day!¨

¨h h h h half the t t t town!¨ I managed to stutter ¨no I I I want to go home right now!¨

¨there is no turning back!¨ she cackled. At that moment I thought I might throw up, the kind looking snowman melted and under that snow was a demo…

¨AHHHHHHHHHHHH¨ I yelled as I sat upright in my bed… wait what! in my bed? This was all a dream! ¨Merry christmas aria!¨ my family yelled and I ran downstairs singing ¨tis the season to be jolly!¨

Claim: The small bag with malt vinegar will explode faster.

Goal: to make the small bag with the malt vinegar explode fast.

Materials: one small snack size bag

Three teaspoons of baking soda

A quarter cup of pretty warm water

Half a cup of malt vinegar

Measuring cups

Teaspoon

A tissue

Method: 1. First you pour the vinegar into the snack bag.

2. Secondly you put the baking soda into the tissue and fold it into a neat package.

3. Then you add the water into the snack bag.

4. Finally you add the baking soda / tissue into the snack bag and watch it explode! ( if it does not explode then you can shake it up, and then that should work!)

Analysis: the MALT vinegar in the SMALL bag worked!

Conclusion: you should definitely try this experiment it works and is very fun to try!

Its been a stressful journey but we have nearly completed the task at hand!

our passion project is on the best sports in the world ... GYMNASTICS, CHEER AND DANCE WOO HOO!

we have got a very exciting e-mail from starship children's hospital ( the operation we are fundraising for )

saying that we can fund raise for them!yass!

we had a superstar dress up day at school to raise money and awareness for starship hospital and raised $130.00 not to shabby huh!

we are also going to do extra things to raise money such as car washes and fruit stalls etc! we are also going to perform a choreographed piece at starship hospital!

so yeah that's all so far!

baking lolly cake

i ate most of the batter. it tasted good. we crushed biscuits and melted butter and condensed milk then we added the two together then finally we added the Eskimo lollies and shoved the lolly cake in the fridge and soon we will have a munch! and I couldn't of done it without my fellow curry munchers scarlett Charlotte and morgan!

I think the director chose eleven year old's because they are at the age where they have a good sense of humor and can have a big ol laugh at anything! Also because that’s the age where you are funny and you don’t even know you are being funny ( a dry sense of humor ) ! It’s also an age where you are gaining confidence so you won't be camera shy!

I think that we must all have something in common. I mean we all eat and drink so I guess that’s two things!but yet again everyone is unique and has their own differences good or bad.I think something I have in common with people all around the world is that I like to have a big ol laugh!
